Top Ally Starts to Turn on Trump

The patience among top Republicans who have supported Trump throughout this election is starting to wane.

Trump’s campaign has done a lot of talking but the physical evidence has yet to be presented.

Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR), someone who has stood by Trump throughout his presidency and was largely responsible for alerting Trump about the COVID-19 problem very early on, is now starting to drift away.

Cotton, while appearing on “Fox & Friends,” stated, “I think where we are is to the point that we need the evidence to be adduced in court.

“Rudy Giuliani and the president’s lawyers have multiple lawsuits filed around the country.

“We’re to the point, though, where this is time not for politicians or for press conferences.

“That was during the election. This is a time for evidence in court.”

This is a growing problem for the Trump campaign because people want to support his case, but they are just not being given anything to support him other than Rudy Giuliani’s word, and that is not quite worth what it once was.

If the campaign does not come up with hard evidence it can present in court and show to supporters, it could do more damage to Trump’s supporters than losing the election.

If these people feel as though they were deceived and led down a road for no other reason than Trump simply did not want to concede, they could all become disenfranchised during the next election cycle, something Republicans simply cannot afford to have happen.

So, like Cotton, I would implore Rudy Giuliani and company to present their evidence soon or they risk doing significant damage to the movement that has been created over the last four years.
