Now that he has been exonerated by the Mueller report, President Trump is coming out swinging hard at everyone involved.
At the top of his list right now are James Comey, John Brennan, and Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA).
Trump has promised to “declassify and release” key FISA documentation to expose the Deep State he and his supporters believe is out to take his presidency away.
The Deep State Effort
When you hear the term “Deep State,” one cannot help but automatically think conspiracy theory.
While I would normally agree, that is not the case here.
The Mueller investigation and how the FISA warrants were secured prove there is in fact a concentrated effort within the government to take out Trump.
The Players
First and foremost, there is James Comey.
The former FBI Director used a bogus dossier as the anchor to secure FISA warrants.
This is the same man that decided on his own Hillary’s case would never make it through the courts, so he refused to indict her.
He did so with mountains of evidence against her.
This is also the man that continues to go on TV now, even after Mueller released his report, and questions the outcome of Mueller’s findings.
Comey knows he is in trouble and is clearly scrambling to throw shade on Mueller to protect his own butt.
John Brennan, the former head of the CIA, is also someone on Trump’s radar.
Brennan regularly went on TV to offer his opinion on the collusion case, always making a case for collusion by Trump.
Now, Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) is claiming a high-level source has confirmed to him it was Brennan that was actually pushing the dossier.
Last, but certainly not least, is Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA).
Virtually every day the investigation was going on, Schiff was on TV telling everyone he had seen absolute evidence of collusion.
If he saw it, it goes without saying Mueller would have also seen it.
So, how does Mueller exonerate the President while Schiff continues to say there is proof of collusion between Russia and Donald Trump?
Schiff is particularly dangerous because he is the current Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee.
He was using his role for political gain as well as lying to the American people.
At the very least, Schiff should be forced to resign his leadership role.
Trump has clearly bought into the idea of a Deep State, saying, “When I said there could be somebody spying on my campaign, it went wild out there.
“They couldn’t believe I could say such a thing. As it turned out, that was small potatoes compared to what went on.
“Millions and millions [spent] on the phony dossier, and then they used the dossier to start things.
“It was a fraud, paid for by Hillary Clinton and the Democrats.”
To prove it was a fraud, Trump is now planning to release the FISA documents to prove his point.
The President stated that he actually wanted to release the documents before, but his attorneys advised him against it for fear it could be a form of obstruction of justice.
If and when these documents are released, at the very least, both Comey and Schiff need to publicly explain their role in all of this.
