Cruz Fuming Over Military Attack Against Tucker Carlson

Our military is suddenly turning very political, which is a very dangerous thing to have happen.

Over the last week, high-ranking officials have lashed out at the news media, specifically targeting Tucker Carlson and the Marines’ Twitter account slammed a private citizen for a comment.

Now Ted Cruz is asking for a sit-down meeting with the powers that be to get this straightened out.

Military Partisanship

Tucker Carlson recently voiced some very real concerns regarding this new “woke” culture that is permeating our military.

He was then blasted by several military officials, which drew a response from Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX).

Cruz stated, “I am deeply troubled that the commitments you made, and the military’s broader obligation to avoid political endorsements and controversy, are being systematically undermined for the sake of leftwing ideology and political expediency.”

Cruz was not alone in wondering why the military was lashing out like this…

Then, after a Twitter user stated, “Please focus on China and not Tucker,” the official Marine Corps Twitter account responded, “Come back when you’ve served and been pregnant.”

That tweet has since been deleted from the account.

However, it drew yet another response by Cruz…

Cruz is right to ask for that meeting but this situation goes well beyond a meeting with a Senator.

When active military starts taking sides in these types of arguments, we are starting down a very dangerous path where the only outcomes are bad outcomes.
