We have heard Trump talk about a coup to try to discredit his presidency.
We have heard numerous outlets speak of a deep state dedicated to taking down Trump… and today we learned it was all true.
A new AXIOS report revealed a series of texts between FBI Agent Peter Strzok and FBI Attorney Lisa Page discussing an attempt to infiltrate the Trump administration through one of Vice President Mike Pence’s aides.
The Plot
The texts were recently discovered through documents released by the Senate relevant to the Mueller investigation.
Shortly after the election, Pence was about to get his first intelligence briefing.
In addition to Pence, his then-Chief of Staff Josh Pitcock would be attending.
A text message from Strzok stated, “he can assess if thete [sic] are any news [sic] Qs, or different demeanor. If Katie’s husband is there, he can see if there are people we can develop for potential relationships.”
Katie is alleged to be Pitcock’s wife, Katherine Seamam.
The “potential relationships” is a way of saying they wanted to recruit someone inside the camp to spy for them.
That, my friends, is about as deep state as it gets.
Pence and Pitcock Outraged
Needless to say, when the Vice President became aware of the information, he was furious.
Pence immediately released the following statement:
“I was deeply offended to learn that two disgraced FBI agents considered infiltrating our transition team by sending a counterintelligence agent to one of my first intelligence briefings only 9 days after the election.
“This is an outrage and only underscores why we need to get to the bottom of how this investigation started in the first place.”
Pitcock was equally outraged, stating that “no infiltration through me or my wife” ever happened.
He further stated, “Any assertations or speculation to the contrary is unfounded, uninformed and 100% false.”
Pence also demanded both Page and Strzok be held accountable for their actions if it is found “these two agents broke the law and ignored long-standing DOJ policies.”
This has literally become a conspiracy theorists dream scenario.
All those guys hiding in their basements that have always preached that Big Brother was watching are actually being proven true.
James Comey and this current class of Democrats have set this country back decades and have completely obliterated what little trust remained with the citizens of this country.
No wonder the Dems are trying to strip us of our Second Amendment rights!
