Anyone that thinks they are voting for the current agenda that is being publicized from Biden really needs to see this interview with Rep. Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.).
While talking to Just the News, AOC revealed that the first priority is to get Trump out of the White House, THEN AOC, Sanders, and the rest of the uber-progressives in the party will “push” Biden towards a more progressive agenda.
Moving to the Left
AOC and Sanders know that the only way they can beat Trump is for Biden to win over their supporters.
Since Biden’s current agenda is far less progressive than they would like, they have to put a carrot out there for them that things will change dramatically once Biden gets into the White House.
AOC stated, “There are some areas where we just fundamentally disagree, but that’s OK.
“I think it’s important to acknowledge that we can have, in some cases, very large disagreements — it doesn’t mean that we’re trying to undermine the party or undermine each other.
“It means that we’re trying to do what’s best for people in the country.”
She added, “I think foreign policy is an enormous area where we can improve; immigration is another one.
“We’ll see what progress that we’re able to make on issues like immigration and criminal justice reform.”
She is more or less admitting that the Democrat party is about to pull a bait and switch on the American people.
