Senator Diane Feinstein (D-CA) has made some headlines over the last year, and none of them have been good.
She has the distinct pleasure of pissing off people on both sides of the aisle, and her recent approval ratings show it.
Time to Retire
In a recent poll on SFGate.com, Feinstein’s approval ratings have absolutely tanked.
Feinstein received only a 35 percent approval rating while also having a massive 45 percent disapproval rating.
This is a massive drop from Feinstein’s usual ratings as well as a 13-point drop from a poll that was taken only a month ago.
Alarming Trend
This is quickly becoming a problem for California politicians, as Feinstein is far from alone in having this problem.
Governor Newsom’s recent problems have been all over the news, with a recall effort hitting the 1.5 million signature mark it needed to have the measure put on the ballot.
Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti is in the same boat, having a 35 to 33 unfavorable to favorable rating.
Could it be that Californians are finally waking up and realizing the Democrats have been running a shell game on them for decades?
The timing of this could not be better because California is ripe with seats that Republicans would love to win.
If they could also somehow manage to get a Senate seat from California, it would be considered an epic coup for the Republican Party.
