Biden Makes Bogus Claim on Campaign Trail, Called Out by Cited Source

Joe Biden continues to hammer the 2017 tax cuts as only working for the top one percent and corporations.

In a recent stump speech, Biden cited conservative think tank Heritage Foundation backed up his claims.

However, the Heritage Foundation immediately pushed back, making Biden look extremely foolish in the process.

Another Biden Lie

The media likes to portray Biden mistakes on the campaign trail as “gaffes,” as they did here.

However, this was another outright lie by Biden, something he has done regularly on the campaign trail.

In this latest lie, Biden was in South Carolina railing about the tax cuts.

To back up his statements, Biden added, “Even the Heritage Foundation has pointed out that his [Trump’s] tax cut did not work.”

The problem for Biden, though, is the Heritage Foundation said the complete opposite.

A senior policy analyst for the foundation, Adam Michel, said he was “dumbfounded” by Biden’s statement.

Michel stated, “I have no idea what he’s referring to,” Michel said. “It’s clear that the tax cuts have worked and have benefited Americans across the county … and will continue to benefit them over time.”

In fact, Michel recently defended the tax cuts, writing “Repealing the 2017 tax cuts would not just hurt the wealthy and corporations.

“It would also leave middle-class Americans tens of thousands of dollars poorer.”

He further stated,  “The evidence is clear that all Americans are benefiting from the tax cuts.

“Following the reform, Americans across the country had bigger paychecks and businesses increased investment, wages, and jobs.

“Average wage growth has been above 3 percent for the last 11 straight months and the lowest wage earners are benefiting from some of the largest wage gains.”

The Heritage Foundation called the tax cuts “the strongest and boldest reforms of President Donald Trump’s first term in office.”

Poor Uncle Joe

Biden’s office is now taking the tack that the media is not being fair with Biden simply because of his age.

Biden’s communication director, Kate Bedingfield, stated, “I think the press has to be more careful about applying an unfair standard to Joe Biden than they’re applying to other candidates.

“If you listen to what the candidates say all day as they’re out campaigning, they’re out in front of cameras, they’re in front of people, they’re talking all day.

“Everybody’s going to slip up and misstate a name or a date or a location. It happens all the time.”

She added, “People know who he is. They know this is a part of his charm.

“They understand that, you know, they’re getting it straight from him. It’s not overly packaged. He’s always speaking from his heart.

“And sure, that means sometimes he’s going to misstate a couple of things. But, frankly, so does every other candidate.”

So, lying is part of his charm?

Misleading Americans by misrepresenting statements is part of his charm?

America is not going to continue to fall for this snake oil salesman.

Biden has been in Washington for decades and has done virtually nothing for the American people.

As a matter of fact, many of the problems he claims to want to correct are problems Biden was very much a part of creating.

For instance, Biden wrote the crime bill put in place during the Clinton administration that is widely credited with mass incarceration of minorities… now Joe wants to let them all out of prison.

Biden was the VP when the cages were built and was in the Senate when most of today’s immigration laws were written regarding family separation… now he wants to allow in two million immigrants and offer amnesty to every illegal in the country.

Joe Biden is a fraud, and that is a fact.
