Biden Takes Cheap Shot at Trump Over Promoting Vaccine

Last week, a public service announcement (PSA) was released with all the former living presidents, except one… Donald Trump.

The PSA was done to promote the use of the COVID vaccine, but President Trump was snubbed.

Now Joe Biden is taking cheap shots at Trump, saying local religious leaders would be more effective at persuading MAGA supporters to get the vaccine than Trump.

There Goes That Unity Plea Again

I am not sure if Biden gets it or not, but Trump supporters take any shot at Trump personally.

So, when the president of unity takes a cheap shot at Trump, all they are going to do is dig in.

On the vaccine, Biden stated, “I discussed it with my team and they say the thing that has more impact than anything Trump would say to the ‘MAGA folks’ is what the local doctor, what the local preacher, what the local people in the community say.

“So, I urge all local docs and ministers and priests to talk about why, why it’s important to get that vaccine and even after that, until everyone is, in fact, vaccinated, to wear this mask.”

This, of course, goes directly against what Dr. Fauci stated this weekend.

While appearing on “Fox News Sunday,” Fauci stated, “If he came out and said, ‘Go and get vaccinated.

“It’s really important for your health, the health of your family and the health of the country,’ it seems absolutely inevitable that the vast majority of people who are his close followers would listen to him.”

Now, Fauci is a leading member of Biden’s COVID team, so it sounds like Biden is more interested in creating headlines for what he deems to be a funny quip than in actually promoting unity and following the advice of his scientists.
