Biden Takes His First Shot at Trump as Presidential Candidate

As Biden comes under attack by his fellow presidential candidates in the Democrat party, Biden is focusing his attention on President Trump.

Sadly, though, Joe Biden‘s first hit against Trump was nothing but a lie, twisting a narrative that has been used by the media to portray Trump as a racist.

Spinning the Truth

In his first campaign video, Biden slammed Trump over his Charlottesville comments.

Biden stated, “The President of the United States assigned a moral equivalence between those spreading hate and those with the courage to stand against it.”

His comments are supporting the Biden theme for his campaign, which is to return dignity and respect back to the office of the president.

While the media and Biden supporters may fall for this nonsense, the entire attack is built upon a lie.

Charlottesville

What happened in Charlottesville was both despicable and horrific.

Nobody is denying that.

After the incident, when everyone on the side of the Robert E. Lee monument not being removed was classified as a racist, Donald Trump stood up for them.

Trump stated there were “very fine people” on both sides that were hurt by this.

The President was not calling neo-Nazis and white nationalists “very fine people.”

He was, however, referring to the people we saw in videos that were there to support their southern heritage that had nothing to do with the attacks.

The same can be said for the liberal side of the incident.

Some people came there with the sole intent of inciting violence, while others were there simply because they were outraged by the monument and their perception of what it represented.

Based on Biden’s early comments, he does not seem interested in toying with the likes of Cory Booker, Kamala Harris, or Kirsten Gillibrand, all who have been more than critical of Biden already.

Biden knows he has the party behind him, which means big money, something we will get into later today.

As such, Biden is all but assured of making it to primary day, so his early attacks are going to be focused on Trump to set the table for a November 2020 showdown.

The only question, though, is if Biden is the one to actually make it out of the primary.

Regardless, as one of the main contenders, this duel between Biden and Trump is only going to get significantly hotter in coming days.

Trump is incapable of letting any negative comment sit, so the other candidates in the race can rest easy, because Trump will do their dirty work for them.
