Border Patrol Seeing Surge in Migrant Positive COVID-19 Tests

We are always worried about massive surges at our borders, but more so now because of COVID.

With the lack of medical care many of these immigrants experience, a flood of positive cases coming over the border has always been a major concern and that concern is now becoming a reality.

Surge in Testing

Last week, the numbers were alarming.

Today, that number has almost doubled.

Rapid testing at the Brownsville, TX, main bus station resulted in 185 positive tests, almost double the 108 positive tests that were reported last week.

This testing has only been going on since January 25 and since then, more than 1,500 illegals have tested positive.

Brownsville, TX, only has a population of about 180,000, so these numbers can be devastating to such a community, but this is about far more than just Brownsville.

There is nothing officials can do to hold these illegals in place once they are processed and released, so who knows where they are going and how many people they are putting at risk.

Also, keep in mind, this is just one processing station, so it is a fairly safe assumption that these numbers are being duplicated at other processing facilities.
