Coyotes have apparently brought their capabilities into the modern era.
Border Patrol agents monitoring the El-Paso sector of the U.S.-Mexico border spotted a drone directing illegal immigrants as to when it was clear to cross the border safely.

The drone was spotted by a Border Patrol agent using an infrared camera.
According to the report, the agent saw the drone cross over the border area several times, returning back to the spot where illegals were waiting to cross.
It would seem the drone operator was checking to ensure the border area was clear before giving the signal to the immigrants that it was safe to proceed.
The Border Patrol issued a statement on the spotting of the drone:
“Approximately two minutes after the object returned back to Mexico for the third time, a group of 10 subjects made an illegal entry into the U.S. in the same area in which the object had been traveling.
“This is the first known time in recent history that a drone has been utilized as a ‘look-out’ in order to aid in illegal entries in the El Paso Sector.”
Ongoing Crisis
If this type of technology is being incorporated to facilitate illegal crossings, the job of the border agent just got significantly more difficult.
This information comes to light as Democrats put significantly more focus on ICE as well as continued calls to abolish the agency.
Now, more than ever, we need the immigration agency to deal with the record number of crossings that are going on at the border.
In recent days, authorities have seen record numbers of apprehensions, which probably means far more are actually coming across undetected.
Border Patrol stated, “The El Paso Sector continues to deal with an unprecedented number of apprehensions, as of March 31st of this fiscal year, the sector had a little over 71,000 apprehensions.
“In comparison to the same time frame last fiscal year, when the sector had just under 11,000 apprehensions.”
Keep in mind, this is just one sector.
Clearly, we have a crisis and it only seems as though it is going to get much worse as long as Democrats continue to fight President Trump on this issue.
