Chris Rocks Slams Jussie Smollett during NAACP Awards

Jussie Smollett is going about life as though he was wrongly accused instead of the justice system being manipulated.

Thankfully, even the most devout anti-Trump liberals are not seeing things the same way.

Chris Rock, who was a presenter during the NAACP award ceremony on Saturday night, asked, “What the hell was he thinking?”

No Jussie Jokes

The NAACP had apparently issued the decree there be no Jussie Smollett jokes during the show.

The material, however, was too good for Chris Rock to pass up on.

Rock hit the shamed actor right out of the gate and did not stop until he made his point crystal clear:

“They said ‘No Jussie Smollet jokes.’

“What a waste of light skin. Do you know what I could do with that light skin? That curly hair?

“My career would be out of here! I’d be running Hollywood.”

“What the hell was he thinking? You’re ‘Jessie’ from now on.

“You don’t get the ‘u’ no more. That ‘u’ was respect. You ain’t getting no respect from me!”

No Awards

The bad night for Smollett did not end with the scathing remarks by Chris Rock.

Smollett was also up for an award Saturday night for best supporting actor in a television drama.

His name, however, was not called, as Jessie Williams from “Grey’s Anatomy” ended up winning.

Taking Responsibility

The one aspect of all this that is really getting everyone upset is the fact Smollett is acting like he was the one wronged here.

He regularly tells reporters he was innocent, even though we know for a fact he set up the fake hate crime.

After the Cook County State Attorney’s office announced the charges were being dismissed, Smollett stated, “I would not be my mother’s son if I was capable of one drop of what I’m accused of.”

Well, he must not be his mother’s son because as far as the Chicago PD is concerned, he is guilty, period.
