When the impeachment inquiry was put on the floor for a vote, there were two Democrats that voted against the measure.
One of those was Rep. Jeff Van Drew (D-N.J), and he has failed to be moved by what he has seen thus far.
Be Careful…
When the impeachment inquiry was first announced, Rep. Van Drew warned Democrats, “Be careful what you wish for.”
Van Drew knew that if Democrats moved forward without having any hard evidence against Trump, they were going to back themselves into a corner of which there was no way out.
His crystal ball was dead on and now he is trying to separate himself from the liberal horde attacking Trump.
He will no doubt feel the wrath of the party, but that is not as bad as losing his job.
When Van Drew was asked where he stands now, he stated, “Unless there’s something that I haven’t seen, haven’t heard before,” he will be voting “no” when the time comes to decide if Trump should be removed from office.
Another Democrat who voted against the impeachment inquiry, Rep. Collin Peterson (D-MN), was also less than enthused about the proceedings thus far.
When Peterson was asked where he stood, he stated, “I don’t have an idea what they’re doing.”
Not Political
On Thursday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) sounded like a raging lunatic when a reporter asked her if the impeachment was because Democrats did not like Trump.
While waving her finger like some deranged maniac, Pelosi stated, “This has absolutely nothing to do with politics.”
If that is the case, this impeachment would have bipartisan support.
However, not only is it partisan, but Pelosi has not even been able to get all the members of her own party on board with it.
Democrats think they are proving something with this massive waste of taxpayer money, but, as Van Drew stated, they are tearing this country apart.
As this impeachment has gone on, support for Trump has actually improved.
So, keep it up Dems, because your impeachment appears to be the best re-election campaign Donald Trump could possibly run.
