In the last few days, Joe Biden has flipped on the Hyde Amendment three times, and now we know why.
In an effort to silence the independent voices within the party, Democrat presidential candidates are encouraging the purging of any members in the party that do not stand up to support abortion.
Leading the way is Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y), who stated, “As a party, we should be 100 percent pro-choice, and it should be non-negotiable.”
Attacking Within the Party
To be honest, there are not many pro-life Democrats in office, but those that have that view are no longer welcome.
Rep. Dan Lipinski (D-Illinois) is one of those rare birds, and his career is about to be distinguished by Bernie Sanders.
Sanders recently openly supported a primary candidate running against the Democrat incumbent.
In a recent Facebook post, Sanders stated he is backing challenger Maria Newman against Lipinski because she is for killing babies…
Sanders stated, “At a time when workers are under attack by Wall Street and women’s rights are under attack by well-funded extremist groups across the country, I am proud to support Marie Newman’s grassroots campaign for Congress.
“Marie will challenge the establishment by fighting for Medicare for All, a $15 minimum wage, expanding workers’ rights, and she will be a powerful voice for upholding Roe v Wade at a disturbing moment in our history when a woman’s right to control her own body and future is at stake.”
In addition to supporting Newman, Sanders also expressed the opinion there is no room for debate on this issue with a recent tweet…
There is #NoMiddleGround on women’s rights. Abortion is a constitutional right. Under my Medicare for All plan, we will repeal the Hyde Amendment.

Pressure such as this is believed to be the reason Joe Biden reversed his reversal.
At a rally in early May, Biden told a supporter he was for abolishing the Hyde Amendment.
A month later, the story finally hit the mainstream media and Biden walked back those comments.
Two days afterward, with increasing pressure for the party, Biden came out to state firmly he now supports abolishing the Hyde Amendment.
No Democrat, however, has faced more scrutiny than Democrat Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards.
Edwards went against the party by signing a bill that forbids abortion after a baby’s heartbeat is detected.
When signing the legislation, he sent out a tweet explaining his position…

Governor Edwards immediately came under fire from liberals.
Leading the lynch mob was Nicole Brener-Schmitz, the Political Director of NARAL Pro-Choice America.
She stated, “Governor Edwards, and any other elected official attempting to use political overreach to roll back our rights, is mistaken to think our fundamental freedoms are up for debate.
“We are the majority, and if you’re not fighting alongside us, you don’t deserve to represent the American people.”
I think this bullying by Democrats is very much representative of the political climate in this country today.
Most conservatives want to have a conversation and debate over the issues.
We may not agree with what you have to say, but we will respect your opinion if it is an educated and well-formed one.
Democrats, however, insist on one viewpoint and will try to silence anyone that disagrees.
Voters better take notice of this because if this current class of Democrats is elected into power, the voice of We the People will no longer matter.
