Today, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) took to the dais to somberly introduce two articles of impeachment.
She and her fellow Democrats in leadership did their best to keep a serious and somber face, but you could see the smile sneak out on several occasions, especially with Maxine Waters.
Honestly, I would not be surprised to find out the reason they did not take questions was so they could get off the stage and high five each other as soon as possible and yuck it up off-camera.
Impeaching Trump
In all, there are two articles of impeachment are being introduced to the House.
The first is on abuse of power.
The second article will be for obstructing Congress.
At the end of his speech, Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.) stated, “The framers of the Constitution prescribed a clear remedy for presidents who so violate their oath of office.
“No one, not even the president, is above the law.”
Unfortunately, Nadler did not take questions, because I would have loved to have a member of the media if that same bar is held up for Joe Biden, because nobody seems to care about the corrupt actions of our former vice president.
Trump Responds
President Trump was obviously watching the press conference, as he responded within minutes of the announcement…
Nadler just said that I “pressured Ukraine to interfere in our 2020 Election.” Ridiculous, and he knows that is not true. Both the President & Foreign Minister of Ukraine said, many times, that there “WAS NO PRESSURE.” Nadler and the Dems know this, but refuse to acknowledge!

Republicans are going to fight this with everything they have, but leadership in the House may have to still persuade some of their own members to vote for impeachment.
There are numerous Democrats that seem less than enthused about having their name on an impeachment document that has been created on such a thin basis.
Over and over again, Schiff, Pelosi, and Nadler stated they are doing this with a heavy heart, or as a last resort, but that is far from the truth.
Democrats have been dreaming up this impeachment since November 2016.
Jerry Nadler made his pitch for chairman as the best man for the job to impeach Trump!
There was never an instant where anyone ever doubted if Dems won the majority in the House, this is where we were going to end up.
This is by far the biggest abuse of power in Congress that I have seen in all my years.
Not only are they trying to impeach Trump, but they are also laying the groundwork to fight the election results in 2020.
So, since they could not win in 2016 and prove Trump colluded with the Russians, Democrats are now letting us know they will claim 2020 was corrupt and tainted as well if Donald J. Trump wins the election.
Power… it is and has always been about power.
