Just moments ago, the Department of Justice made an announcement that is going to infuriate about half this country.
The DOJ has announced that it is NOT going to pursue charges against former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe.
How Does He Get a Walk?
This is infuriating.
I have supported Attorney General William Barr throughout but I have had one very strong criticism of him throughout his time as the AG… he has refused to prosecute DOJ and political figures we all know are corrupt.
If there are two people that worked in the prior administration that deserve to be in jail it is James Comey and Andrew McCabe.
Instead, neither of them will ever face justice, more than likely because our Justice Department always takes care of its own and protects corrupt politicians.
McCabe lied, but the lying was purposely described as “lacking candor.”
You see, if they say he lied, they would have to send him to jail, like they are doing to General Flynn and Roger Stone.
Lacking candor sounds far less damaging and allows McCabe to get off with a mere slap on the wrist.
The DOJ just sent a letter to McCabe’s counsel, stating, “We write to inform you that, after careful consideration, the government has decided not to pursue criminal charges against your client, Andrew G. McCabe.
“Based on the totality of the circumstances and all of the information known to the government at this time, we consider the matter closed.”
So, you know what this does? It allows McCabe to immediately go to the media and say he was wronged, even though we know he misled investigators.
And, guess what, that is exactly what just happed.
McCabe’s attorney immediately issued a statement:
“This means that no charges will be brought against him based on the facts underlying the Office of the Inspector General’s April 2018 report.
“At long last, justice has been done in this matter.
“We said at the outset of the criminal investigation, almost two years ago, that if the facts and the law determined the result, no charges would be brought.
“We are pleased that Andrew McCabe and his family can go on with their lives without this cloud hanging over them.”
McCabe himself stated, “It is an absolute disgrace that they took two years, and put my family through this experience for two years, before they finally drew the obvious conclusion and one they could have drawn a long, long time ago.”
McCabe is right in that it is a disgrace… but the disgrace is that he has not been indicted.
If this were you or I, or Roger Stone, we would be doing time, plain and simple.
But because McCabe is one of their own, he is getting off scot-free and now he gets to rail about how badly he was treated even though he broke the law.
There is a laundry list of people that have gone to jail for far less than what McCabe did, yet he now walks away a free man.
Not only is our government corrupt, but our DOJ is also either corrupt or too scared to open up Pandora’s Box.
So, our Justice Department has now let Hillary Clinton off the hook, James Comey off the hook, and Andrew McCabe off the hook, three people we all know are corrupt.
As I stated above, I have supported Barr throughout and even defended him earlier today, but now all We the People can do is take everything he says about bringing these corrupt officials to justice as lip service.
At this point, why even pursue going after Joe Biden because we all know if Biden goes down, he is taking about half of our government with him and apparently that is just far too difficult of a task for the Department of Justice to handle.
