ESPN Host Dan Le Batard Violates ESPN Non-Political Policy to Slam Trump

After the Jemele Hill debacle and some serious ratings problems, ESPN issued an edict to all of its on-air personalities politics were not to be discussed unless it coincided with a sports story.

Dan Le Batard blatantly violated that edict to rail against Donald Trump after Wednesday night’s rally in North Carolina.

ESPN is About Sports, Not Politics

One of the main reasons the edict was handed down was because ESPN viewers on both sides of the aisle were unhappy that politics was being interjected into their sports.

Le Batard believes this is wrong and actually called ESPN management cowards for the policy.

If he truly feels that way, he should work for CNN or some other network where regular news is the meal of the day rather than a network that specializes in sports.

When you hear how misinformed and ignorant his own argument is, you can realize why ESPN does not want politics discussed…

Getting It All Wrong

Le Batard claims Trump is purposely targeting people of color and women to create more divide in this country.

However, he could not be more wrong.

Trump was calling out Omar and several members of the Squad because of their anti-American rhetoric, period.

The crowd started the chant, not Trump, and Trump even later said he did not like the chant.

When you look at Trump’s record for minorities, it just crushes the argument being made by Le Batard and proves he is nothing more than an ignorant liberal drinking the Kool-Aid the Democrat party is pouring out lately.

We currently have the lowest unemployment rate for African-Americans in recent history.

More women are now employed and the unemployment rate for women is also far lower than it has been in recent times.

Donald Trump was the president that signed off on the second-chance legislation to help minorities in prison.

The list goes on and on, but none of that seems to matter to Le Batard.

Trump is about stopping illegal immigration, not immigration overall.

Trump is not against women, but he is against a group of four women that constantly rail against this country while at least one of them constantly takes an anti-Semitic stance.

Perhaps Le Batard would be better served to keep his show focused on sports because that is why people tune in to hear him, not to hear his liberal rhetoric and lies about the Trump administration.

Nonsense such as this is exactly why I stopped listening to and watching ESPN several years ago and never plan on watching the network again.
