It is not often you will get the mainstream liberal media to agree with President Trump.
On Jim Acosta, however, they have seemingly come to a middle ground.
With his new book only weeks away from being released, Acosta’s fellow CNN employees, as well as other media members, are comparing him to a “paid pundit.”
Cashing In
I have been among the many alt-media writers that have said on numerous occasions the media, and specifically, Jim Acosta, are no longer interested in telling the facts of the story.
They cherry pick quotes or events or specific windows of video to pitch the story they want to pitch, not what actually happened.
They have been deceiving Americans for years, decades even.
Acosta has been masterful at this.
One of his most recent blunders was cherry picking a line out of Trump’s immigration speech to make it appear Trump was calling all asylum claims bogus.
When you see the full text of the speech, you can clearly see that was not the case.
Acosta does not like Trump, he never did.
He has been against him from day one and now it appears as though he has actually been orchestrating the entire ordeal to cash in on a best-seller.
You see, Acosta has a book coming out in the middle of June called, “The Enemy of the People: A Dangerous Time to Tell the Truth in America.”
From what I have seen of the early reviews, Acosta makes himself look like a martyr on the front lines of the battlefield rather than a journalist working the cushy assignment of the White House.
Getting Old
Acosta, at one time, was the golden boy of the press corps.
That is no longer the case.
In fact, his fellow CNN employees are now throwing shade at him.
Here are just a few of the quotes from CNN staff members on Jim Acosta:
“Jim Acosta is, a lot of times, asking the right questions but it doesn’t always need to be about him and his grandstanding. People get tired of it. Acosta is supposed to be a correspondent reporting the facts, but you can’t tell the difference between him and a paid pundit.”
“If we don’t have to talk about Jim Acosta, we don’t talk about Jim Acosta.”
The sentiment among other members of the press corps is similar:
“I support reporters – even irredeemably biased ones – having access to the White House. But Acosta should consider how his behavior affects the rest of the press corps, who are there to be taken seriously and report the news rather than boost their own celebrity.”
Acosta is no longer a journalist, at least not a news journalist.
I have stated on numerous occasions CNN should remove him from the White House press corps and give him his own opinion show because he is clearly biased and pushes his own agenda every chance he gets.
Now that his fellow press members are calling him out, perhaps the entire world will see what a fraud he really is.
