Fired Ukraine Prosecutor Claims Told to Treat Burisma Investigation with ‘Kid Gloves’

In January 2019, Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani conducted an interview with a former Ukraine prosecutor tasked with investigating Burisma, Viktor Shokin.

In Giuliani’s notes from the session, he wrote that “U.S. Ambassador Geoffrey R. Pyatt told him that the investigation has to be handled with white gloves, which according to Mr. Shokin, that implied do nothing.”

Shokin also claimed his “investigations stopped out of fear of the United States.”

It should be noted that Joe Biden did not announce his candidacy until April 2019, so this conversation happened roughly three months prior to Biden announcing his candidacy in the race.

Stalled Investigations

According to numerous reports, the investigation into Burisma had been stalled for quite some time.

Shokin claims that he was trying to renew the investigation both into Burisma and Mykola Zlochevsky, who was the former Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources for Ukraine.

Zlochevsky also had an interest, it was later revealed, in Burisma.

This, of course, is the same company that Hunter Biden was eventually placed on the board of and received a nice stipend of $50,000 per month, even though he had absolutely no experience in the natural gas field prior to his appointment.

Biden Fights Back

As expected, Joe Biden’s campaign is saying this is complete nonsense, that he did nothing wrong and he knew nothing of his son’s business operations.

Biden Deputy Campaign Manager Kate Bedingfield stated, “The substance of President Trump and Rudy Giuliani’s claims has been roundly discredited.

“This is not a claim from the campaign or Joe Biden. This is an irrefutable fact.”

About That 2013 Trip to China…

The refreshed allegations being made by the Trump administration against Biden have brought the 2013 China trip back under the spotlight as well.

In December 2013, Hunter Biden accompanied his father on Air Force 2 to China.

The fact that Biden had his family with him is not the issue; what is the issue is it is now believed Hunter Biden was conducting personal business while on this trip.

Josh Lederman, an NBC News writer, stated, “What wasn’t known then was that as he accompanied his father to China, Hunter Biden was forming a Chinese private equity fund that associates said at the time was planning to raise big money, including from China.

“Hunter Biden has acknowledged meeting with Jonathan Li, a Chinese banker and his partner in the fund during the trip, although his spokesman says it was a social visit.

“The Chinese business license that brought the new fund into existence was issued by Shanghai authorities 10 days after the trip, with Hunter Biden a member of the board.”

So, we are to believe this was merely a social visit when a billion-dollar deal was funded less than two weeks after the visit?

There is also the question of Joe Biden making the connections for his son, which would be completely illegal (even though we know most of our politicians practice this regularly).

President Trump also commented on the alleged social visit by Hunter Biden, stating, “When Biden’s son walks out of China with $1.5 billion in a fund, and the biggest funds in the world can’t get money out of China, and he’s there for one quick meeting and he flies in on Air Force Two, I think that’s a horrible thing.

“I think it’s a horrible thing.”

Democrats continue to say this is nothing but a conspiracy theory, but the facts here just do not add up to anything but corruption.

I have said this before and I will say it again… We cannot look past this corruption simply because Joe Biden is a candidate for the presidency, which is what Democrats are saying should be done.

The fact that Trump or anyone else could benefit from Biden being proven to be corrupt is secondary to the fact that we all need to learn the truth about exactly what happened here.
