The faith Democrats and liberals have in Joe Biden being able to make it to the finish line is quickly diminishing.
Uber-liberal Juan Williams, who regularly appears on Fox News as well as co-hosting “The Five,” believes the constant missteps by Biden have put him in “big trouble” in this election.
Just Not Prepared
This all comes down to the fact Biden simply was not prepared for the first Democrat debate.
In May, long before the first debate took place, Biden proclaimed he would not talk ill of any of his competitors.
As far as he was concerned, that should have meant hands off him.
Biden did this because he knows his record is garbage and if Democrats go after him, he will lose, again.
That is Biden’s mindset, though, as he thinks he is just better than everyone else and his word should be gospel.
As we all saw, it was far from hands off when it came to the debate.
Harris’ attacks against Biden’s busing record hurt him and they hurt him bad.
On that debate, Biden stated, “I was prepared for them to come after me, but I wasn’t prepared for the person coming at me the way she came at me.
“She knew Beau [Biden] and she knows me.”
In case you haven’t been paying attention, Biden seems intent on riding the pity train to the White House.
While we can emphasize with the loss of his son to cancer, quite frankly, we are tired of hearing about it and tired of Biden using it to pull on people’s heartstrings.
Big Trouble for Joe
The fact Biden was not ready for these attacks is proving to be his downfall.
Juan William stated, “He gave the impression he wasn’t ready to be challenged. … If that’s true, boy, that’s big trouble.
“He should have known as the frontrunner, there were long knives ready for him.”
Williams later added, “That’s how other people are going to rise and challenge him as the frontrunner and that’s exactly what Kamala Harris did, she took command of the stage and that’s the reasons we have seen her jump ahead in the polls.”
Biden has proven to be his own worst enemy thus far in this election.
When he isn’t screwing up on the debate stage, his mouth is getting him in trouble.
We have already caught him blatantly lying at least three times on the campaign trail.
This does not even take into account the things he has said that have hurt him, most recently resulting in a lame Biden apology for talking about the good old days with his racist Democrat buddies in the Senate during the 1970s.
While Biden is still holding onto a lead in the most recent polls, his numbers are down significantly.
Even more telling is the fact in the online political prediction market, PredicitIt, Biden is actually trailing Kamala Harris at $.26 to $.23 per share (he once held a 2:1 lead over Harris).
The sentiment is right by Williams, but “big trouble” is a massive understatement IMO.
