Georgia Governor Tells Trump ‘No’ on Emergency Powers

Georgia, as we all know, is one of the key states to this presidential election.

The idea of Joe Biden winning the state has everyone scratching their head, including President Trump, who has asked Governor Kemp to invoke emergency powers to investigate the election.

Kemp, a Republican, however, has told Trump he will NOT do that and the election rests in the hands of his secretary of state and election board.

NO

Trump is clearly upset at the lack of cooperation he is getting even among his own party members.

Georgia appears to be one of the states with the most possible irregularities, so Trump pleaded with the governor to help…

The governor’s spokesperson, however, stated, “Georgia law prohibits the governor from interfering in elections.

“The Secretary of State, who is an elected constitutional officer, has oversight over elections that cannot be overridden by executive order.

“As the governor has said repeatedly, he will continue to follow the law and encourage the Secretary of State to take reasonable steps – including a sample audit of signatures – to restore trust and address serious issues that have been raised.”

It is just simply amazing that more people seem fearful of what they may uncover rather than investigating and learning the truth.
