Governor Abbott Takes Matters Into His Own Hands… Beefs Up Border Security

Joe Biden has more or less declared the United States to be a country with no borders.

Texas is obviously one of the border states that will be deeply impacted by Biden’s new immigration rules, but Biden could care less about how this impacts the state or its citizens.

That being the case, Governor Abbott has decided to take care of the problem himself.

Beefing Up the Border

Since Biden is cutting back on border controls, Abbott knows that if he does not do something, the state of Texas will face the brunt of this immigration crisis.

Abbott stated, “The crisis at our southern border continues to escalate because of Biden Administration policies that refuse to secure the border and invite illegal immigration.

“Texas supports legal immigration but will not be an accomplice to the open border policies that cause, rather than prevent, a humanitarian crisis in our state and endanger the lives of Texans.

“We will surge the resources and law enforcement personnel needed to confront this crisis.”

Abbott is far from the only Texas politician ringing the bell on this, either.

Recently, Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-TX) sounded off on this as well.

He stated, “We are weeks, maybe even days, away from a crisis on the southern border. Inaction is simply not an option.

“Our country is currently unprepared to handle a surge in migrants in the middle of the pandemic.”

While the people on the ground that can see this situation developing are getting worried, Biden officials continue to say there is no emergency at the border.

The fact that Cuellar is now openly panicking about this proves that Biden is lying to the American people, something he vowed not to do on his first day in office.

So, when is the mainstream media going to call him out on it?
