GUILTY! Rep. Ilhan Omar Found Guilty of Campaign Finance Violations

When conservative websites started to tell this story, everyone thought it was just a right-wing conspiracy theory.

However, on Thursday, Minnesota campaign finance officials ruled that Rep. Omar (D-Minn) did violate state finance laws by using campaign funds for personal reasons.

The Violation

According to the initial charges, Omar had used campaign funds to finance several personal trips in 2016 and 2017.

The cost of those trips was just under $3,500.

While disputing the charges all along, Omar claimed the right-wing was doing nothing but trying to slander her.

As it turns out, they all had it dead right.

The report on the campaign violation stated, “Rep. Omar must personally reimburse the Omar committee $3,469.23.

“This reimbursement payment is the total amount of campaign funds that were used for purposes not permitted by statute in 2016 and 2017.

“Rep. Omar must provide documentation within 30 days from the date of this order showing the deposit of the reimbursement into the Omar committee’s account.”

In addition to repaying the money, Omar was also fined $500 for the violation.

What Now?

The Democrat party has a real problem on their hands with Omar.

She has repeatedly made anti-Semitic comments during her time in office.

She has shown no remorse whatsoever and continues to attend events with groups many believe have terrorist ties.

Thus far, Democrats have only censured her for her comments, which amounts to be nothing more than a slap on the wrist.

Omar has clearly shown she does not deserve to represent the people of her state let alone sit on committees.

She should be immediately stripped of all her duties and made to sit on the sidelines until after the 2020 election cycle has been completed, where hopefully the voters of Minnesota will realize they were duped and vote her out of office for good.
