I have heard a lot of crazy things in my life, but what Hillary Clinton just insinuated should be enough to get her committed to a psychiatric institute for the rest of her life.
While not naming anyone specifically, Clinton made the allegation that the Russians are currently “grooming” one of the female Democrat presidential candidates to run as a third-party candidate.
Championing the Russian Interests
The statement made by Hillary Clinton is bizarre and completely unfounded.
She stated, “I’m not making any predictions, but I think they’ve got their eye on somebody who is currently in the Democratic primary and are grooming her to be the third-party candidate.
“She’s the favorite of the Russians.”
While Hillary Clinton did not have the guts to actually name Gabbard, the implication is pretty clear that is who she was referring to in her comments.
There are only five women candidates and Gabbard is the only that has ever been linked to the Russians in the media.
Why Pick on Tulsi?
This whole narrative got started about a week ago during a CNN panel debate.
CNN analyst Bakari Sellers outright accused Gabbard of being “a puppet for the Russian government.”

He had nothing at all to back up his statement, mind you, which is about par for the course for CNN these days.
But why Gabbard? Well, that is pretty easy to figure out. The attacks against Gabbard started after she exposed Kamala Harris during a Democrat debate.
After that debate, the New York Times wrote a blistering article on Gabbard, questioning her loyalty to the party and the country in general.
The author of the piece, Lisa Lerer, wrote, “Some Democrats wondering what, exactly, she is up to in the race, while others worry about supportive signs from online bot activity and the Russian news media.
“Alt-right internet stars, white nationalists, libertarian activists and some of the biggest boosters of Mr. Trump heap praise on Ms. Gabbard.
“They like the Hawaiian congresswoman’s isolationist foreign policy views. They like her support for drug decriminalization.
“They like what she sees as censorship by big technology platforms.”
So, this comes down to the fact that while we do not support Gabbard, we respect her, which is enough for the Democrat party to throw her under the bus.
Any sane person can see that Gabbard is a threat to the establishment, and we all know how those threats are taken by Democrats.
You would think reasonable people would distance themselves from Clinton’s claim, but they are embracing it.
Hillary Clinton’s spokesperson, Nick Merrill, stated, “This is not some outlandish claim.
“This is reality.
“If the Russian propaganda machine, both their state media and their bot and troll operations, is backing a candidate aligned with their interests, that is just a reality, it is not speculation.”
Gabbard, for her part, is already on the record stating she will not run as a third-party candidate, which will just blow Hillary’s narrative right out of the water.
Remember this, though, as it just proves Democrats will throw as much sh** into the fan as they deem necessary to get one thing to stick that will help push their narrative, even if that person is a member of their own party and a decorated member of our armed forces.
