ICYMI: Joe Biden’s 1998 ‘Lynching’ Comments Revisited

Recently, Donald Trump set out a tweet calling the impeachment efforts by Democrats a “lynching.”

There was significant outrage from Democrats over the wording, including Joe Biden.

On Tuesday, Biden tweeted out, “Impeachment is not ‘lynching,’ it is part of our Constitution” in response to Trump’s choice of words.

Biden would go on to say, “Our country has a dark, shameful history with lynching, and to even think about making this comparison is abhorrent. It’s despicable.”

Biden, however, seems to forget nothing is gone forever these days, and a 1998 interview Biden did during the Clinton impeachment once against exposes Biden as a complete hypocrite.

Biden Exposed

Joe Biden has done and said a lot of things where he seems to think he gets a free do-over, but we are not that forgiving here.

Now, Joe’s words were pretty harsh above, which would lead us to believe that anyone in the history of this country that has used such terminology is also “despicable” and “abhorrent,” right?

Well, let’s revisit an interview during the Clinton impeachment that Joe Biden did…

Now, correct me if I am wrong, but did Joe Biden use the term “partisan lynching” in that video?

We Don’t Accept Your Apology, Joe

When Biden’s interview was dug up, Biden immediately issued a lame apology for his comments.

Biden tweeted out, “This wasn’t the right word to use and I’m sorry about that.

“Trump, on the other hand, chose his words deliberately today in his use of the word lynching and continues to stoke racial divides in this country daily.”

So, are we to believe Biden did not have his phrasing ready to go during that interview and that his use of “partisan lynching” was not meant to stoke some type of reaction?

Or, is it just slightly possible that Biden used the term “lynching” back then to equate the impeachment as a one-sided endeavor, more or less mob rule, just as Trump meant when he used it this week?

There was no intent by Trump to stoke racial divide, he was just using a phrase that has been used in this country for decades to describe a one-sided event of this nature.

Or, let me stretch this out a bit and say that someone inside Trump’s team had seen the interview and Trump used the term specifically to create more problems for Biden, knowing full well that Biden would criticize him and this video would resurface.

If that is the case, it is pure genius on the part of the Trump campaign.

Regardless, we once again have a Democrat committing an act over which Trump has been raked over the coals that caused zero outrage when it was originally committed by a Democrat.

Even more importantly, it once again exposes the hypocrisy of the twice-failed, soon to be thrice-failed, Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden.
