Joe Biden Cancels Milwaukee Acceptance Speech

We are about two weeks away from the Democrat National Convention kicking off.

For those that thought accepting the nomination for the Democrat candidate for the presidential election would be enough to get Joe Biden out of his house, think again.

Joe’s Gonna Stay Home

Early this morning, news broke that Biden has officially decided to cancel his Milwaukee appearance to formally accept the nomination and he will now do so from the friendly confines of his Delaware home.

This was to be Biden’s first major appearance during the pandemic but he is instead choosing to stay hidden in his basement.

Now, if we are being realistic, Biden has little no chance of catching the virus through travel.

In all likelihood, he would be traveling private, so he can easily put measures in place to ensure he is not exposed.

Being in Milwaukee, though, would have exposed Biden to open questions from the media, something he is trying to avoid right now.

The DNC, of course, tried to put a positive spin on this.

DNC Chair Tom Perez stated, “From the very beginning of this pandemic, we put the health and safety of the American people first.

“We followed the science, listened to doctors and public health experts, and we continued making adjustments to our plans in order to protect lives.

“That’s the kind of steady and responsible leadership America deserves.

“And that’s the leadership Joe Biden will bring to the White House.”

That all sounds great, but this is more about protecting Biden from being exposed and hiding his cognitive problems.

So, at this point, Americans will not be able to see Biden outside of the controlled setting of his basement until the first presidential debate.
