A report broke last night that was rather stunning.
According to House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), he and President Trump had a conversation where Trump admitted that he bore some blame for the riot at the Capitol last week.
While the White House has yet to confirm or deny the report, it would appear as though McCarthy is in damage control mode for President Trump.
McCarthy has always been a big supporter of Trump and he wants Trump to have a future with the party.
McCarthy also knows that if the party loses all the voters that Trump has brought to the dance, they will never win another election again.
The admission does seem out of sorts for Trump, so we will keep an eye out on this to see if Trump confirms or denies these reports.
