Latest Polls Reveal Biden’s Lead is Gone

Joe Biden has finally done it.

He has squandered what most believed was an insurmountable lead upon his announcement of running for President.

The latest Quinnipiac University poll now has Elizabeth Warren firmly in first place by two points.

All Downhill from Here

Honestly, the writing has been on the wall for some time now regarding Biden’s ability to secure this nomination.

He was handed a 40 percent majority upon announcing, but a slew of mistakes and flip-flopping have cost him the entire lead.

Now, Biden has dropped to second place in a national poll for the first time since he announced.

This should be very concerning for Biden because it proves Americans are finally realizing he is about as good a candidate as Hillary Clinton was in 2016.

It’s a Two-Horse Race

In addition to Warren taking the lead over Biden, it has become painfully clear the rest of the field is done.

Bernie Sanders, who had been solidly in second place for most of this election cycle is now down in third, but his numbers are not good.

The Vermont Senator is still holding at 16 percent, but he has failed miserably at gaining ground outside of his own base.

The fact Sanders has barely budged during this process simply proves that no matter what he says, he cannot win a single vote outside of his main base.

There was also some bad news for Kamala Harris, who has slipped all the way down to three percent in the poll. Her campaign is clearly now over, even though she is unlikely to admit it.

Curiously, Pete Buttigieg is still hanging around with a respectable seven percent of the vote.

The Warren campaign is obviously excited about the news, recently announcing it is getting ready to spend $10 million on digital ads in Iowa, Nevada, New Hampshire, and South Carolina.

Biden still has time to recover from this, but it just seems unlikely he can create the momentum.

Remember, this “scandal” hanging over Trump’s head regarding the Ukraine could end becoming far more damaging for Biden than Trump.

Take that into account with his inability to open his mouth without creating more problems points to a Biden collapse in the presidential race for the third time.
