Liberal Hollywood Changes Bible Script of One of Jesus’ Miracles in ‘Mary Magdalene’

We all know Hollywood likes to take poetic license with stories to make them more interesting, but this is really over the top.

Now, Hollywood is feminizing the miracle of Jesus healing the blind man of Bethsaida by making a woman the recipient of the Miracle.

More Feminine Approach

“Mary Magdalene” is a film surrounded by controversy.

The original release of the film was delayed numerous times over the Harvey Weinstein sexual assault allegations.

Now the film is steeped in even more controversy as the film dramatically alters one of Jesus’ miracles.

In the Gospel of John, Jesus heals a man by spitting in some dirt to create mud, then wipes the mud on the man’s eyes.

In the movie, however, that miracle is significantly different.

For one, Joaquin Phoenix refused to rub mud on someone’s eyes.

Phoenix stated, “I knew about the scene from the Bible, but I guess I never really considered it.

“When I got there, I thought, ‘I’m not going to rub dirt in her eyes. Who the f— would do that?’

“It doesn’t make any sense.

“That is a horrible introduction to seeing.”

By the way, the “her” is not a typo.”

In its infinite wisdom, Hollywood is pacifying feminists by putting a woman in the role of the man in the Biblical miracle.

Changing History

Liberals have a funny way of treating history.

If they don’t like it, they either erase it or just change the story to fit their own narrative.

For Christians, this is a complete afront to one of their most cherished beliefs.

A miracle should not be altered to fit a political narrative.

Phoenix is not the one to decide if a miracle makes sense, but to depict it as it happened, period.

Even for those that are atheists, it just goes to show how far liberals are willing to go to be “politically correct.”

Today’s assault on the Bible could be tomorrow’s assault on our Founding Fathers.

Liberals have proven nothing is off limits at this point.
