One of the House Judiciary witnesses decided to make a cheap joke at the expense of Barron Trump during Wednesday’s hearings, and it did not sit well with our First Lady.
We all know the quiet and classy First Lady can turn the switch in a heartbeat, and she did so, replying to the tasteless “joke” by Pamela Karlan with a rather direct tweet…
A minor child deserves privacy and should be kept out of politics. Pamela Karlan, you should be ashamed of your very angry and obviously biased public pandering, and using a child to do it.

The Cheap Shot
Karlan, one of the so-called expert witnesses called to testify before the House committee on Wednesday, was trying to make a point that Trump apparently thinks of himself as a king.
To make her point, she stated, “The Constitution says there can be no titles of nobility, so while the president can name his son Barron, he can’t make him a baron.”
What was even more shocking then her comments was the audible laughter from those in attendance when she said it…

Knowing Democrats, they will more than likely call the response by the First Lady witness intimidation.
The pushback on this was immediate from conservatives, though, who saw this for what it truly was.
Among those sending a reply was Stephanie Grisham, the White House Press Secretary, who stated, “Classless move by a Democratic ‘witness’.
“Prof Karlan uses a teenage boy who has nothing to do with this joke of a hearing (and deserves privacy) as a punchline.
“And what’s worse, it’s met by laughter in the hearing room.
“What is being done to this country is no laughing matter.”
Grisham surely had an additional stake in this, as she spent the bulk of the first two years of the administration as Melania’s official spokesperson.
There was a time when even uttering the name of a minor child in the White House would have had you blackballed, but that is clearly no longer the case.
Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) also laid into Karlan, telling her, “It does not lend credibility to your argument.
“It just makes you look mean.”
Gaetz would go on to shred her credibility as well as that of the rest of the panel, something we will cover later today.
These hearing have truly become a sideshow, though, but Democrats continue down the path of loading the witness list not with impartial experts and first-hand accounts but rather with biased individuals and what amounts to be nothing more than gossip.
