Mitt Romney Betrays Trump… Again

For a brief moment, there was peace between Donald Trump and Mitt Romney, but that is all about to change.

When asked if he would support Donald Trump in the 2020 election, Mitt Romney stated, “I don’t think endorsements are worth a thimble of spit.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if I stay out of the endorsements.”

Traitor!

During the 2016 election, it was outright war between Mitt Romney and Donald Trump.

Both of them traded barbs and Romney did everything he could to get anyone else the nod, but he failed miserably.

Romney kept up his criticism for a bit, then it suddenly just went away.

We later found out the reason it went away was because Romney decided to run for the Senate seat being vacated by Orrin Hatch.

Romney and Trump held several meetings and it was believed both of them put the war behind them for the good of the party.

Then, surprisingly, Donald Trump endorsed Mitt Romney in the 2018 elections…

Get Some Backbone

It is okay to be critical of Trump on agenda issues you do not necessarily agree with.

Look no further than Senator Graham for that.

While he supports Trump overall, he is quick to call Trump out for policies or behavior of which he does not approve.

However, when push comes to shove, we all know Senator Graham is going to have Trump’s back.

Romney does not have to like Trump or all of his policies but as a Republican elected member of Congress, he should be supporting Trump in the presidential election.

This is just further proof that Romney has no backbone and no loyalty.

He was more or less gifted that Senate seat by Hatch, but the people of Utah have some serious questions to ask come election day 2024.

If Romney does not have the courage or capacity to support his president, he does not deserve to be in office himself.
