The damage inflicted on the Biden campaign due to Biden’s remarks Friday morning are still unknown because the backlash is continuing to pour in.
The NAACP was quick to point out that during Biden’s interview, in addition to his insulting comment, he lied about being supported by the NAACP.
Another Biden Lie
During the controversial interview, Joe Biden claimed that he owned the black vote, even getting the endorsement of the NAACP “every time I’ve run.”
Only that is not the case.
As the backlash poured in regarding Biden’s racially charged comment at the end of the interview, the NAACP stepped up to set the record straight on the outright Biden lie.
During the Breakfast Club interview, Biden stated, “Take a look at my record. I extended the Voting Rights Act for 25 years.
“I have a record that is second to none.
“The NAACP’s endorsed me every time I’ve run.
“Take a look at the record.”
NAACP President Derrick Johnson responded to Biden’s claim, stating, “Yesterday, former Vice President Joe Biden made a comment about the NAACP’s endorsement.
“We want to clarify that the NAACP is a non-partisan organization and does not endorse candidates for political office at any level.”
More Excuses from Biden
As always, after Biden was called out, his campaign went into damage control to explain what Biden “really” meant when he made his comment about the NAACP.
I have actually lost count how many times his campaign has had to interpret a Biden gaffe at this point, but they did it again here.
A Biden campaign official stated that Biden “was referring to his ratings from the organization.”
Getting good ratings from the group, however, is far from the group coming out to endorse Biden, but we all know most mainstream media outlets won’t even bother covering the story.
They will accept this explanation just as they have his campaign stating that his remarks were made in jest as well as Biden’s lame non-apology when he never said he was sorry, only that he regretted being so cavalier.
The media may be buying it but based on the reaction on social media, black voters that were on the fence are not.
Minorities are sick and tired of elitists candidates telling them how to define their ethnicity and even though the media treats Joe Biden like a man that can do no wrong, voters are finally starting to see him for the hypocrite, liar, and elitist politician that Biden truly is.
