There is honestly nothing I love seeing more than a corrupt political figure being put in his place in the public spotlight.
White House Counsel Pat Cipollone did exactly that to Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.) today and it was priceless.
Not in Charge
Nadler and his fellow House managers have come into the Senate like they own the place.
They have this righteous attitude about them that makes me sick.
They are also slinging around a considerable amount of lies without being checked at all.
Well, at least they were until Cipollone took over the microphone.
After Nadler ripped off several false accusations about not only Trump but also members of his legal team, Cipollone had heard enough.
Cipollone stated, Thank you, Mr. Chief Justice, members of the Senate.
“We came here today to address the false case brought to you by the House managers. … We’ve been respectful of the Senate. We’ve made our arguments to you. And you don’t deserve, and we don’t deserve, what just happened.
“Mr. Nadler came up here and made false allegations against our team. He made false allegations against all of you: he accused you of a ‘cover-up.’
“He’s been making false allegations against the president.”
He then turned to look Nadler right in the eye and stated, “The only one who should be embarrassed, Mr. Nadler, is you, for the way you addressed this body.
“This is the United States Senate. You’re not in charge here.”
Watch the Facts
As this trial plays out, do your own due diligence to ensure the statements being made are factual.
For instance, Nadler is still quoting Trump out of context by saying Trump stated, “I can do whatever I want.”
Trump did say those words, but he was talking about whether or not he could replace Mueller, a decision he ultimately decided against.
Democrats have no shame and since they don’t have actual facts on their side, they are manipulating evidence to suit their narrative.
This is both a hoax and coup, something these Democrats are eventually going to have to pay for and they will come election day, make no mistake about that.
