Sooner or later, the truth always comes out.
For Rep. Tom Malinowski (D-N.J.), the truth came out far quicker than he ever wanted.
You Can’t Say That!
Democrats love to accuse conservatives of being racist.
God forbid you make a small slip-up or a bad joke and you are immediately labeled as a racist or a sexist or an Islamophobe.
However, when Democrats do the same thing, we are all expected to just excuse it or in the case of Joe Biden, just laugh it off as part of his charm.
Rep. Malinowski may not be lucky enough to have his comments dismissed, though, as the Hispanic community is surely not going to take kindly to what he had to say.
While trying to make the case that illegal immigrants are useful to their communities, he stated, “We have to think about the jobs, right.
“Because the reason this happens is there there are a lot of jobs in our community that like it or not, for better or worse, Americans are not willing to take.
“Who do you think is taking care of our seniors?
“Fifty percent of the elder care workers in the state of New Jersey are immigrants.
“Most of them legal, most of them documented.
“But certainly some who are not.”
“Who do you think is mowing our beautiful lawns in Somerset County?
“We don’t usually ask, but a lot of those workers are undocumented.
“There are just not a lot of kids, sorry, from Montgomery High who are going to be doing that full time.”
The crowd obligingly laughed at his comments, but these comments are not being taken so amusingly by others.
Not to beat a dead horse, but nobody has a problem with legal immigrants, however, regardless of the job they are doing, we absolutely have a problem with illegal immigrants.
Think about how many landscaping businesses are losing work because people like Malinowski and his uppity friends are using illegals to cut their lawns.
That is not the real problem here, though.
The problem is in how disrespectful Malinowski is being to a particular ethnic group of people.
Put those words in Donald Trump’s mouth and we all know what the headlines would have read.
Well, Malinowski made those comments about a week ago and we are still waiting for the first racist accusation to come from a liberal or elected Democrat.
