Former President Barack Obama is finally opening up about Hillary’s defeat and it is NOT a good look for #44.
In a new edition of “Obama: The Call of History,” Obama unleashes a bit of a tantrum over the election results, accusing Americans of turning on him by refusing to elect Hillary to office.
This Stings
Barack Obama, like most Democrats, thought Hillary Clinton was a shoe-in for office in 2016.
Never in their wildest dreams did they think a businessman with no political experience could beat an establishment candidate with the personal endorsement of Barack Obama.
They were wrong.
Obama reportedly told his family “this hurts” after Hillary lost the election.
Obama further stated the people of this country had “turned on him” by electing someone Obama called a “cartoon.”
His negativity was not solely aimed at Trump though.
After admitting “this stings,” Obama also threw some shade in the direction of Hillary Clinton.
He reportedly stated her campaign was “scripted” and “soulless.”
There Goes My Legacy
Obama’s arrogance about his time in office was never so apparent than the comparison he made between himself and Michael Corleone.
Obama thought the empire that he created for Dems was going to be his legacy.
He also thought that legacy would be safe in the hands of Hillary Clinton.
He, along with the entire Democrat party, though, severely underestimated the American people and how fed up they were with a president that took this country towards a far-left turn.
As the election wore down, Obama reportedly thought the American people “simply could not have decided to replace him with a buffoonish showman whose calling cards had been repeated bankruptcies, serial marriages, and racist dog whistles.”
As the book states, that while Obama was not technically on the ballot, the 2016 election was sold as a third term of Obama, something the American people completely rejected.
These new insights tell more about the problem today in the Democrat party than most may believe.
They truly think they can say and do just about anything and Americans will fall for it.
Obama tried to ruin this country and completely change its political ideology.
He apologized for the behavior of America to other world leaders and appeared to actually be embarrassed rather than proud of the country he was elected to represent.
It wasn’t America that let you down Mr. Obama, it was you that let the country down.
