On Friday, President Trump extended the travel ban to six more countries, absolutely infuriating Democrats.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) was, not surprisingly, among the first to attack Trump for extending the ban.
Dems Are Furious
Pelosi stated, “The Trump administration’s expansion of its outrageous, un-American travel ban threatens our security, our values and the rule of law.
“The sweeping rule, barring more than 350 million individuals from predominantly African nations from traveling to the United States, is discrimination disguised as policy.”
She later added, “With this latest callous decision, the President has doubled down on his cruelty and further undermined our global leadership, our Constitution and our proud heritage as a nation of immigrants.”
While Pelosi was among the first to speak out on the ban, she was not the last.
Virtually every presidential candidate also blasted Trump for his decision to extend the ban.
Warren tweeted, “Trump just expanded his racist, xenophobic Muslim Ban to ban 6 more countries—including Nigeria, the most populous nation in Africa.
“Congress must pass the NO BAN Act. And if they don’t, I’ll reverse the Muslim Ban on the first day of my presidency.”
Not surprisingly, both Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders made racist allegations against Trump for the new policy.
Sanders called it a “racist travel policy that dehumanizes immigrants and their families for [Trump’s] own political purposes.”
Biden addressed the issue on Twitter with a couple of tweets…

If Democrats were upset about this, imagine how they are going to react when the next set of immigration rules go into effect later this month.
The most “controversial” of Trump’s new immigration rules is to ban immigrants that will more than likely rely on welfare to live here.
Considering our entitlement benefits are already stressed, this policy just makes sense, but Democrats don’t see it that way.
They have no chance to defeat it, though, because that measure has already been taken to the Supreme Court, with Trump coming out victorious.
