Pelosi Hints ‘Misogyny’ Played Role in Warren and Klobuchar Exits

The Democrat party has a really hard time accepting the fact that most Americans found the majority of their candidates unworthy of the presidency.

In this day and age, can we still really make a claim that misogyny is why there is no woman candidate?

Well, that is exactly what Pelosi did.

Always an Excuse

When you look at the facts, Warren herself gave a really good reason why Klobuchar is out of the race.

She equated her positions during this election to “post-it notes.”

People simply did not believe she was the answer.

As far as Warren goes, several very damaging lies were uncovered during the campaign that took away all Warren’s steam.

Up until that point, Warren was a contender.

That is not what Pelosi is saying, though.

Pelosi stated, “I do think that there’s a certain element of misogyny that is there. And some of it isn’t really mean-spirited, it just isn’t their experience.”

If Pelosi really felt that strongly about Harris or Klobuchar or Warren, then why did she not come out and endorse one of them right out of the gate.

When Klobuchar dropped out, Warren was still in the race, yet she endorsed Biden, so even she clearly did not think Warren was the right person to lead their party into the presidential election.

Women in Power

Few, if any, people I know have a problem with a woman being elected to office.

But it still needs to be the “right” person overall.

Hillary Clinton was not the right woman and if anything, she set her own party back in terms of electing another woman.

On the conservative side, I have been railing for about two years that I would love to see Nikki Haley run in 2024 and if she does announce, we will endorse her right of the gate over ANY candidate.

I will do that because I think she is not just the right woman, but the perfect candidate to continue to move this country forward.

Call me archaic, but I think at this point, we need to get past the best African American or the best woman, and simply look for the best person, regardless of their race or gender, to be elected to office.

Everyone wants to be treated on a level playing field until they lose, then they dig up a race card or a sexist card to explain it away.

We have a woman Speaker of the House and we just had a black president.

In the corporate world, we have women and African Americans in powerful positions in every industry.

So, as stated above, let’s just focus on getting the right people and stop throwing these labels around to create more anger and fury in this country than we already have.

We should all just want the right candidate, period.
