To the public, Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is recommending patience.
Behind the scenes, though, her team is apparently working diligently to set the stage for a Trump impeachment.
Deputy Tips Hand
Rep. Jim Clyburn (D-S.C.), the number three Democrats in the House, stated over the weekend that the wheels are in motion already.
He stated, “I think we’ve already begun.
“We’ve got all of these committees doing their work, we’re having hearings.
“We do believe that if we sufficiently, effectively educate the public, then we will have done our jobs, and we can move on an impeachment vote and it will stand, and maybe it will be what needs to be done to incent the Senate to act.”
Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.) backed that sentiment.
He stated, “Impeachment is a political act, and you cannot impeach a president if the American people will not support it.
“The American people, right now, do not support it because they do now know the story.
“They don’t know the facts.”
Lying and Insulting
So, this is the route the Democrats are now taking.
We the People are a bunch of dummies and we need the Democrats to educate us on the facts.
That sentiment came from a man that lied about what Mueller said only minutes after Mueller made his statement.
With this tact, we can expect the Democrats to start cherry picking and twisting statements in order to “properly educate” We the People.
Try as they might, it will not work because far too many of us actually seek out the truth rather than waiting for someone to hand their version of the truth to us.
One glaring fact we know right now is that Democrats cannot be trusted.
