Petition to Have Gavin Newsom Recalled Hits 1.95 Million Signatures

To get the recall of Governor Gavin Newsom on the ballot, 1.5 million signatures were needed.

The organizers of the recall stated they would not stop until just before the final deadline to ensure disallowed signatures would not block the measure from getting on the ballot.

Now, days ahead of the deadline, it has been announced that the petition to have Newsom recalled is approaching two million signatures.

Remove Newsom

Orrin Heatlie, the founder of the California Patriot Coalition-Recall Gavin Newsom 2020, will use the remaining time before the deadline to continue to collect signatures.

The hope remains to still collect more than two million to offset and invalidated signatures.

Randy Economy, Senior Advisor to Recall Gavin Newsom 2020, has told Fox News that the validation rate is 82 percent, which should give the petition a small margin with the number of signatures it currently has on the ballot.

The deadline for the petition is March 17, so they still have more than a week to gather more signatures.

Economy stated, “One thing we want to let everybody know here, especially to the politicians across the street and the lobbyists that have destroyed California’s dream for decades and generations is that your game’s over.

“From now on, the people are in charge of California.”

If this recall is successful, it could point to a major problem for Democrats in the state.

Up until now, most California congressional seats and electoral votes have always been penciled in as Democrat.

A successful recall could point to a small red wave in the state… and that is about all Republicans would need to flip the House and Senate back to red.
