Police Officers Taunted, Attacked During Shootout

The anti-cop attitude that has permeated this country was taken to a whole new level in Philadelphia on Wednesday night.

While officers were involved in an hours-long shootout that resulted in several officers being shot, they were also taunted and attacked by onlookers.

Warrant Gone Bad

The incident happened while officers were serving a warrant to a suspected drug dealer in the city.

Reports stated that the operation went sideways virtually right out of the gate.

The shooter opened up fire on the officers, and an hours-long active shooter scenario followed.

The scenario played out for more than eight hours, with six police officers shot during the shootout.

Local reports stated that several officers were trapped inside the building with the shooter, as the suspect shot through the floor in an effort to take them out.

After approximately five hours of gunfire, the local SWAT team was able to retrieve the wounded officers as well as several hostages.

Just after midnight, the alleged shooter surrendered to officers.

Neighborhood Gone Wild

While all of this was playing out, Philadelphia Police also had to deal with an unruly crowd of neighbors.

Local reporters stated that while most of the crowd was respectful of the efforts of the police, there were more than a few onlookers causing problems for the officers.

A shocking video from the scene showed officers being taunted, laughed at, pushed, and having debris thrown at them…

That is a scene you will not see reported on most news outlets because they only want to show you stories where police officers are in the wrong.

Every officer on that street was putting their life on the line to protect these citizens, but that is how they thanked them.

This disrespect of police officers must stop and these liberal mayors need to hold each and every citizen responsible for this horrific behavior accountable.
