In one of the more shocking and despicable acts of this presidential race, the brother of presidential candidate Julian Castro, has sunk to an all-time low.
Rep. Joaquin Castro tweeted out a list of some of the top Trump donors in an effort to shame them…
Sad to see so many San Antonians as 2019 maximum donors to Donald Trump — the owner of @BillMillerBarBQ, owner of the @HistoricPearl, realtor Phyllis Browning, etc.

Shaming for Political Gain
Castro has officially put the future business success and personal safety of everyone on that list in jeopardy.
What is even more shameful is the fact these are constituents of Castro’s, as they are all San Antonio residents and business owners.
His duty, as a congressman, is supposed to be to look out for the welfare of the people of his state, yet considering the current climate, all he has done is put a target on their head and on their businesses.
Tim Murtaugh, the Trump campaign’s communication director, was furious, stating, “How low have Dems sunk?”
“This is Joaquin Castro, Congressman & chair of his brother’s campaign. Naming private citizens & their employers, targeting them for their political views and exercising 1st Amendment rights.”
He further states that Castro “Should delete & apologize.
“Castro campaign should disavow.”
Instead, Castro doubled down on is his own statement, saying he was not targeting anyone…

He may be right, this information is public knowledge, but most people are not digging into these files to see who is donating to whom.
If people wanted to find this information, that is on them… there simply was no need to actually publish this list and put it out there as well as publicly shaming these people for supporting the President.
Furthermore, his assertation that nobody is being targeted is completely false.
His intention here was clear… to shame these people and hopefully have liberals protest their businesses where possible.
Let me ask, if one of these individuals is attacked or their business is vandalized, is Castro responsible for these actions?
Julian Castro, to this point, has completely dodged questions from the media about the tweet, which is, quite frankly, despicable.
If anything, and I mean even a scratch or a broken window, happens to anyone on that list, the responsibility for it falls right into the lap of Joaquin Castro as well as that of his brother.
