The Democrats are drunk with power right now from the lowest aide in the House right to the Oval Office.
That was never more apparent than Friday when Biden made a stunning announcement.
He Doesn’t Need Them
Traditionally, former presidents have access to and/or receive regular intelligence briefings if they so desire.
As Trump’s presidency was winding down, numerous Democrats on intelligence committees vowed to try to block Trump from receiving intelligence briefings once he left office.
Well, their pleas were heard by Biden, who dropped a bombshell on Friday.
Discussing Trump’s right to receive these briefings, Biden stated, “I think not.
“I just think there’s no need for him to have intelligence briefings.
“What impact does he have at all, other than the fact he might slip and say something?”
The hubris in these people is amazing, as though there will never be a price to pay for all of this.
At some point, Republicans will hold a majority and all these little digs are getting stored up.
This, of course, does not even take into account that Trump’s supporters will be livid about this, creating an even larger fracture in the country between conservatives and liberals.
So, I say again, what exactly is Joe Biden doing to create unity? Or, should I say, how much more of a divide does he plan on creating?
