REPORT: Overdoses in Pelosi’s San Francisco Bigger Problem Than COVID-19

Is there too much of a focus being put on COVID-19 and not enough in other areas, such as drug overdoses?

Or, is the pandemic making people more desperate, leading to an elevation in these existing problems?

A report in the San Francisco Chronicle should get the attention of Pelosi’s biggest enemies because it shows just how little Pelosi is doing on this front.

Over the last four years, her concentration has been on impeaching Trump and undermining his COVID-19 response.

All the while, she is ignoring a problem that continues to grow out of control in her own state.

The Chronicle reported, “Fifty-eight more people died of drug overdoses in San Francisco last month [November], bringing the yearly total to at least 621. That compares to 441 deaths in all of 2019.

“The latest numbers put San Francisco on track to losing nearly two people a day by the end of the year and dwarf the 173 deaths from COVID-19 the city has seen so far this year.”

Now, we all know, if this was a Republican’s district, this would be headline news on every major mainstream media outlet.

But it’s California, where Democrats are treated with kid gloves and problems are overlooked, so there is nary a word being said about it.
