As the sitting Vice President, one of Pence’s roles is to put his stamp of approval on Congress’ ratification of the Electoral College vote.
New reports are breaking that as a last-ditch effort to overturn the election and to give himself more time to fight the alleged fraud, Trump wants Pence to reject the Electoral College vote that is to be ratified by Congress in January.
This is more or less a formality, however, something Pence reportedly explained to Trump.
Trump, however, does not see it that way, and is now reportedly upset in what is being perceived as a lack of effort by Pence to help Trump overturn the election.
With the Supreme Court dealing Trump a crushing blow in the PA election fraud suit, Trump seems to have run out of plays to make at this point.
With the court putting a January 22 response date for the PA Secretary of State, it will be able to dismiss the case on timing since it will now be taking place after inauguration day.
It was a cowardly move by the Supreme Court to ensure it did not have to take on this case.
