REPORT: Two Texans on Trump’s Supreme Court Nominee List

On Wednesday, the names of possible Supreme Court nominees were released by the White House.

Among those names were two prominent Texans.

HUGE Honor for Texas

James Ho, a judge from Texas on the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, was on the list, but he was far from the headliner for Texans.

Also on the list was Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX).

After hearing he had made the shortlist of 20 possible nominees, Cruz stated, “It’s humbling and an immense honor to be considered for the Supreme Court.

“In the Senate, I have been blessed to lead the fight to preserve our constitutional liberties —every day, to defend the rights of 29 million Texans — and I look forward to continuing to do so for many years to come.”

If I am being perfectly honest, Ted Cruz is not one of my favorite people in the party, but the man is amazing when it comes to the law and he is a diehard conservative, something the Supreme Court desperately needs right now.

This is very much a nomination I would get behind.
