New reports are now breaking that investigators in Ukraine have officially opened up a case against Joe Biden.
According to the reports, the probe was launched due to a court order after Viktor Shokin, the lead Ukraine prosecutor ousted due to Biden pressure, made an appeal for action.
Bad News for Joe
Every bit of momentum Biden gained with this win in South Carolina may have just hit a brick wall.
Depending upon how this all turns out, it could stop his campaign dead in its track or give him a boost if it ends up as a big nothing burger.
Now, I want to be clear, this was NOT an investigation initiated by the Ukraine government, so Dems have nothing to stand on regarding that front.
This was an investigation that was launched specifically due to Shokin’s current case.
This is an investigation that was more or less forced due to the filings made by Shokin’s attorney, Oleksandr Teleshetsky.
Teleshetsky stated, “They need to investigate this.
“They have no other alternative.
“They are required to do this by the decision of the court.
“If they don’t, then they violate a whole string of procedural norms.”
Ukraine’s Anti-Corruption Action Center has confirmed that an investigation is underway.
This all stems back from a now-infamous video Joe Biden bragging about putting pressure on Ukraine officials to secure a $1 billion loan from the United States government.
Biden then stated, “I said, ‘You’re not getting the billion.’ I’m going to be leaving here in, I think it was about six hours.
“I looked at them and said: ‘I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money.’
“Well, son of a b—-, he got fired, and they put in place someone who was solid at the time.”
I am honestly not hopeful that much will come of this and it looks like something that may have been put in play by Rudy Giuliani.
The last people I want investigating Joe Biden are the Ukrainians, who have a long history of corruption.
Besides, the pressure of Joe Biden regarding the loan is not really the issue we want to be settled; it is if Joe Biden used his influence and connections to make his family members rich, including Hunter Biden.
In the overall scheme of things, this one incident is a pimple on an elephant’s ass.
Not to mention the fact everyone in the world that was following politics at the time knows Shokin was also corrupt.
We need to investigate Joe Biden here in the States to see if campaign funds were misappropriated to his sister and brother as well as if he pushed policies, specifically in the United States, the Caribbean, China, Russia, and Ukraine (among others) to purposefully benefit his relatives.
