When South Carolina State Representative Mandy Powers saw some cadets and midshipman making the “OK” symbol on TV, she immediately accused them all of using a white supremacy sign.
Her tweet was quickly picked up by both the media and other Democrats, all shaming these kids and labeling them as racists.
Now that an investigation has been conducted, revealing the kids were playing the “circle game,” Powers has been eerily silent.

Powers had no problem making waves when she thought these kids were using white supremacy signs.
When the investigation cleared the kids as only playing the circle game, however, Powers deleted her tweet and remained quiet.
Thankfully, more than a few people were able to get screenshots to prove she made the allegations without any proof…

A report by the Navy stated, “Multiple individuals stated that the circle game is commonly played at the Naval Academy and in other military and civilian settings.
“Additionally, when viewed in context with the other behavior displayed by both midshipmen and cadets during Gameday, it is reasonable to believe the midshipmen were playing the circle game.”
The report would go on to say, “However, we are disappointed by the immature behavior of the two Fourth Class Midshipmen, and their actions will be appropriately addressed.”
A similar conclusion was reached by West Point investigators, stating, “Last Saturday we had reason to believe these actions were an innocent game and not linked to extremism, but we must take allegations such as these very seriously.
“We are disappointed by the immature behavior of the cadets.”
The only person we have not heard from yet is Rep. Powers.
With such nasty allegations and the lifelong penalty these young men would have placed on them with a racist label hanging over their heads, not to mention possible loss of a military career, we would think she would issue an apology.
Instead, all we hear are crickets and her office has not responded to requests for comments.
Coward… that is the word that describes Powers.
Land a cheap shot, then run and hide when you are proven wrong.
