Schiff Makes Pence Next Target for Democrats

The first part of the Democrat plan has been carried out, now it is time for phase two.

And, thanks to Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) sending a letter to the office of VP Mike Pence, we know exactly what that plan is.

Outing Pence

If you recall, several weeks ago I hinted that Dems either knowingly or unknowingly revealed in committee questioning that they would ultimately make Pence a target for impeachment with Trump.

There were considerable catcalls of conspiracy theory when I made that claim, but it was rooted in fact based on the line of questioning as well as some answers that were given during the House Intelligence hearings.

Earlier this week, Schiff revealed his hole card in the form of a letter to our vice president.

In that letter, Schiff hinted that Pence may know more than he is letting on in regard to Trump allegedly pressuring Ukraine President Zelensky.

Schiff stated that evidence revealed during the hearing “raises profound questions about your knowledge of the President’s scheme to solicit Ukraine’s interference in the 2020 U.S. presidential election.”

The evidence in question is the testimony of Jennifer Williams, who serves as Pence’s adviser on Russian affairs.

Williams was asked to give her remembrance of the call between Pence and Zelensky, but she stated at the time it may be classified.

Schiff offered her the ability to either submit additional testimony or come behind closed doors.

Williams did submit supplemental testimony but thus far, that testimony has been deemed classified and as such, Schiff has not been able to see it.

Schiff is doing a little wordplay to make Pence sound guilty.

After seeing the testimony, Pence’s office determined it was not relevant, then stated the VP “never raised the Biden, Burisma, or Crowdstrike in his conversations with President Zelensky.”

According to Schiff, since “the committee neither asserted that, nor asked whether, you specifically used those words.”

He would add, “If the Supplemental Submission [from Williams] accurately describes your September 18 conversation with President Zelensky . . . it would mean that the representation of your communications with President Zelensky, as described in your office’s December 11 letter, may be purposefully misleading.”

Then, Schiff finally got to his point, stating, “Your unwillingness to declassify the Supplemental Submission raises the serious question of whether your continuing efforts to obstruct the House’s impeachment inquiry are intended not just to protect President Trump, but yourself as well.”

Everyone on the planet right now knows why Schiff wants that testimony, so the assumption by Pence’s office is hardly an admission of guilt, as Schiff is maintaining.

However, what is very obvious from the tone of the letter is that Schiff has now painted a target on Pence’s back.

So, don’t be surprised if somewhere in the near future an inquiry is opened up against Mike Pence for his impeachment.
