Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) is pushing a new narrative right now and it is one that all of America needs to hear.
Cruz, during several recent appearances, is accusing the Democrats of fearmongering to win the upcoming 2020 presidential election.
Cruz Nailed It
Either Cruz is reading our articles or we have somehow experienced the Vulcan mind-meld.
For months now, I have been calling out Democrats and the media for twisting facts, not reporting the good news on COVID-19, and trying to stoke fear in Americans as a way to get Joe Biden elected.
As an example, look at how COVID-19 is reported right now.
All we hear about are the positive cases, which you are going to get a lot of when you are testing more than 500,000 people every day.
What the media tells no one is that the majority of the cases are not showing signs, are mild, or that people have fully recovered.
Death rates went from more than 10 percent to less than one percent in recent weeks, but you would never know it to hear the news reports.
The same thing is happening with riots around the country, as the media is sugarcoating what is really happening.
Even Fox News played into this narrative when the network cut away from a recent McEnany video presentation showing the harsh reality of what is happening in Democrat-run cities right now.
Cruz stated, “We’re 100 days out from the presidential election — the only objective Democrats have is to defeat Donald Trump.
“And they’ve cynically decided [the] best way to defeat Donald Trump is shut down every business in America, shut down every school in America.”

He made a similar statement when appearing on Fox News recently with Harris Faulkner.
I Told You So
When the first stimulus package was introduced, I had major worries about everyone getting an additional $600 across the board rather than just making their paychecks whole.
I was not alone, as several Republicans in office expressed these same concerns, but Trump inked the legislation anyway because of Democrat pressure.
Exactly what we predicted would happen is happening.
Cruz touched on this as well, stating, “And I’ll tell you, I’ve spoken to small business owners all over the state of Texas who are trying to reopen and they’re calling their waiters and waitresses, they’re calling their busboys, and they won’t come back.
“And, of course, they won’t come back because the federal government is paying them, in some instances, twice as much money to stay home.”
This is what Democrats wanted all along because they knew if they could prevent people from going back to work, it would continue to pummel the economy that Trump has planned on riding right into the 2020 election.
Cruz was also in agreement with me on NOT passing another stimulus bill and instead focusing on what we need for businesses to recover from this debacle.
He stated, “What we ought to focus on, instead of just shoveling trillions out the door, we ought to be passing a recovery bill.
“Now, what’s a recovery bill? A recovery bill would be lifting the taxes and the regulations that are hammering small businesses so that people can go back to work.
“A recovery bill would suspend the payroll tax, which would give it a — a pay raise to everyone in America who’s working. That actually gets people back to work.”
To put it bluntly, Republicans need to get a backbone and they better do it soon.
They have allowed Democrats to dominate Congress.
For the first two years, Republicans had both the House and the Senate, and they did nothing to help out Trump.
Wall funding, Obamacare, etc., it all could have been taken care of but the only thing of note they passed was the tax cuts.
Since Democrats took over the House, Democrats have bullied through legislation, and Republicans have just sat back and allowed them to do whatever they want.
That must stop and it must stop now or We the People need to take action. Remember the next few months because whoever does not stand up to Democrats needs to be removed from office.
I don’t care who they are, but come next primary in both the House and Senate, we may need to start looking for some new blood to put into those seats because our representation in Congress on the conservative side has been pathetic for the last four years.
