If we give Senator Chuck Schumer enough rope, he is not going to have any problems hanging himself.
The man is so giddy with power right now, he can’t help himself from getting in front of the microphone to let the world know Democrats simply don’t need Republican cooperation right now, and Biden doesn’t care if he gets it either.
Biden partly won this election by pushing the unity and bipartisan angle, but you and I both know that was not his intent.
Democrats always had the plan that if they could get both chambers of Congress and the White House, they would have unfettered control and push through anything they wanted.
Schumer gave up all the tapes on Tuesday, stating, “Joe Biden is totally on board with using reconciliation. I’ve been talking to him every day. Our staffs have been talking multiple times a day.”
He confirmed this again later, stating, “Look, we’re moving forward under the reconciliation.
“That is what President Biden wants us to do, and that is what we’re doing.”
So, I ask you, does that sound like someone that wants bipartisan unity or that is even looking for input from Republicans on a single piece of legislation right now?
